“Green friendly” lighting systems ensure sustainable building.

Litecontrol achieved the Cradle To Cradle Certification through a detailed review of their products, processes, and policies. The Cradle To Cradle rating system includes an assessment of five categories important to Sustainable Lighting:

• Human and ecological health impacts of the materials used in the products
• Extent to which materials are re-utilized
• Energy characterizations of the manufacturing processes
• Water stewardship exhibited by the manufacturer
• Corporate policies related to social responsibility
