September event includes a fireside chat with Kenexa VP of Product Strategy, and a vendor tour featuring leading HR and talent management vendors.

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) August 21, 2008 — The IHRIM (International Human Resources Information Management) Twin Cities Chapter announces its upcoming program will include keynote speaker Ron Hanscome, VP of Product Strategy at Kenexa, a vendor tour, and a vendor fair. The local chapter event will take place on September 8, 2008 at the Sheraton Four Points in Minneapolis, MN. Local IHRIM members and non-members will have the opportunity to interact directly with industry-leading vendors to learn more about their products and services, and network with colleagues from the Twin Cities area.

The event keynote will be presented in a fireside chat format during which Ron Hanscome, VP of Product Strategy at Kenexa will sit down with Jason Averbook, CEO of Knowledge Infusion and Program Director for the IHRIM Twin Cities Chapter, for an interactive discussion. Topics to be covered include the state of HR technology today, trends in talent management, thoughts on emerging technologies and how they are impacting HR, as well as interactive discussions and questions from the audience.

During the Vendor Tour, Jason Averbook will be the guide as leading HR and talent management vendors showcase their hottest products on stage. Participants will get a chance to see the vendor world in an up-close, intimate, and non threatening environment and ask the functionality questions they’ve always wondered about.
