Dailymotion builds on its political content with daily coverage and programming

New York (PRWEB) August 25, 2008 — Dailymotion, one of the fastest growing video web sites in the US and the world’s largest independent video entertainment website, will take an active role in covering the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

Each evening, Dailymotion is programming one half hour of political content in the Big Tent Denver. Dailymotion will showcase a selection of entertaining and enlightening political videos directly from the Public Space of the Big Tent from 9pm to 9:30pm Monday through Wednesday. Dailymotion plans to stream webcam videos produced by participants at the convention in Denver.

Dailymotion’s presence at the DNC builds on the Company’s heritage as a medium for unrestricted political discourse. Dailymotion features some of the best political content on the Web today, ranging from political analysis, high profile news clips and political comedy.

Dailymotion’s convention programming includes videos from partners GOOD, Remix America, JibJab and Dailymotion’s Motionmaker program for creative contributors. On Tuesday, August 26th, Dailymotion and partners Barely Political and 23/6 will showcase the best in political comedy.
