Autonomic Controls Integrate iTunes and Windows Media on RTI Touch Panels
Autonomic Controls, the provider of award winning media integration solutions has announced that Media Control Server version 2.0 brings iTunes and Windows Media Center control to RTI T4 and K4 touch panels.
Denver, CO (PRWEB) September 3, 2008 — CEDIA. Autonomic Controls has announced that Mirage, the graphical user interface for Media Control Server, is now compatible with RTI touch panels and provides full two way control of iTunes and Windows Media Center including metadata feedback and support for CD and DVD cover art display.
Media Control Server version 2.0 provides an elegant alternative to iPod docks by allowing touch panel control of iTunes and Windows Media Center libraries, including media purchased from the iTunes Store and other providers. The solution creates a highly satisfying experience to homeowners who can enjoy music on their systems just moments after downloading it without having to deal with file transfers, missing iPods or protected media hassles.
MCS can also provide control over a variety of media, including Blu-Ray and DVD movies, recorded-TV, videos and photos.
Autonomic Controls PolyTune?„? technology allows integrators to configure PC based media servers to output multiple streams of audio. A 7.1 sound card becomes a four source iTunes / WMA media server. Additional sound cards can be added to support more streams if desired. Each independent output is fully controllable.
Integrating Media Control Server into an RTI control system is a simple two step process. Drag an object onto the form using RTI’s Integration Designer software and specify the name of the PC running Media Control Server.
RTI integration is being demonstrated by Autonomic Controls this week at the CEDIA convention, booth #699.
Autonomic Controls develops exclusive digital media control solutions for integrators and manufacturers. Their flagship product, Media Control Server, is the industry standard for providing two-way control of Windows Media Center.
