Online Emoticons: Online Remedy For Accurate Expression
Message sending online or through mobile phones is definitely a technological quantum leap from traditional mail and landline telephones. And with the introduction of online emoticons, online and texting communication is further improved.
Amusing Online Emoticons
Online emoticons are icons or symbols used for showing emotions online. There are online emoticons to express happiness, care, understanding, forgiveness, anger, doubt, hilarity, confusion, hurt, embarrassment, frustration, boredom, and others. These icons, often circular faces with graphical enhancements, show intended emotions through exaggerated facial expressions. Choose any and click on them to get a copy of the online emoticons on the composition or message to be sent. To fix an emoticon properly on a message, click the cursor on the specific space where an online emoticon is desired. Then click on the emoticon.
Accurate Emotion Expression Online
Expressing emotions online used to be a frustration to a lot of message writers unfamiliar with self-expression through writing. For instance, if a friend writes an apology online for failing to show up on an agreed rendezvous, and the message receiver simply writes back ?“Okay,?” the friend has no way of knowing in what emotion the reply was sent back. But if the message receiver attaches a happy or funny emoticon, the friend gets a good idea of how the receiver feels. Online emoticons give heart and character to online messages.
Short-Cut or Quick Replies
If a picture is worth a thousand words, online emoticons can carry whole worlds of emotions or thoughts with a single icon. It?’s harder to communicate through typing messages online compared to merely talking. But there?’s a remedy. With online emoticons whole sentences and even paragraphs may be expressed through a single emoticon. This way, message sending need not be burdensome by having to type phrases or sentences just to reply to a simple query or two.
For instance, a friend asks online something like this: ?“Jeff and I are planning on a hiking with several others this weekend. Interested? Yeah, I know you have loads of project deadlines to beat, but I just thought I?’d ask. Well??” The receiver may answer something like, ?“Gosh! I really want to but I can?’t. You known how I love hiking. But I really have to pass these reports and projects on time. Sorry. Oh boy, I really am going to miss something this weekend.?” Or, the receiver may simply reply with a single frustrated or sad or crying emoticon or similar other online emoticons. The whole idea and emotion in not being able to go are conveyed much easier and saves time.
More Fun with Online Emoticons
Online communications become more fun and exciting with emoticons. Sometimes, some people would rather send written messages online just to avail of them. Some even prefer to affix online emoticons after each sentence or paragraph to be accurate with their expressed feelings and assure message receivers of how they really feel or take others?’ opinions. However, it is cautioned here never to use online emoticons for formal messages or letters like an online application letter or a project proposal to the boss.
With online emoticons, email or text messages become more humanized and personalized. However, keep it light and humorous and know when to use them.
